What a great place to stay for fishing the blue ribbon Rock Creek ! Just a minute or two drive to the Bohrnsen Memorial bridge enabled us to cruise down in the early morning with our coffee, scope out the conditions, and head back to the cabin to put together a game plan with the right gear. No need to pack a lunch and load up an ice chest … mid-day we fished back to the bridge, hopped in the car and were enjoying lunch and talking afternoon strategy within minutes. Evidently construction was just completed and as one would expect, everything is brand new and clean, clean, clean ! The Flint Creek fly shop in Philipsburg is less than 15 minutes away, so as well as being very convenient, they are experts on this stretch of Rock Creek.
